The star-wheel lithographic presses of Stamperia Carini in 1980
Founded in 1977 in San Giovanni Valdarno by brothers Piero, Dino, and Valerio Carini, Stamperia Carini has been continuously producing engravings, lithographs, and screen prints for its own editions, as well as for artists, art galleries, museums, and institutions.
The workshop is housed in a large historic space built alongside the Arnolfo city walls, in the town where Masaccio was born. It is fully equipped with both antique and modern tools and printing presses for stone lithography, intaglio, and screen printing, in formats ranging from small to large scale, up to 100 × 200 cm.
